Art Walk Schedule

We host four Art Walks Annually!
April, August and November, and we participate in the June city-wide Arts Week.

See the Art Walk map below; flyers with maps will be available at Annapolis galleries and at the Visitor's Center 2 weeks prior to the event.

Stop by to meet renowned artist Greg Harlin and his works from the Ken Burns "American Revolution" series. Artist talk 7 to 7:30 p.m. Browse and enjoy light refreshments.

Annapolis Pearl Gallery, 32 West Street

Showcasing their artist's works, you'll find an amazing selection of both 2D and functional art. Browse and enjoy light refreshments! 

Annapolis Marine Art Gallery, 110 Dock Street

They are showcasing artworks by Annapolis artist, William R. Sutton. Light refreshments! open until 6:30

Earl Gallery, Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts, 801 Chase Street

Visit the gallery to see the joint MFA national juried exhibitions "Art in Abstraction" and "Off the Wall" while artists conduct demos!

Gallery 57 West, 57 West Street

Participate in their current exhibit "America 250: This Is Now", an interactive community art project where visitors of all ages can create an original 3-by-3-inch canvas.

Jo Fleming Contemporary Art, 68 Maryland Ave

Enjoy the August exhibition "Creekside Variations", a body of recent abstract paintings by local artist Carey Crane. Artist Talk at 6 p.m. Light refreshments served

McBride Gallery, 215 Main Street

Stop by on your walk to watch McBride's demonstrating artist Paula Waterman in action from 5 to 8 p.m. Light snacks and beverages offered.​​

MFA Circle Gallery, 18 State Circle

Enjoy the lovely works on display in the national juried exhibition "Power of Color" to see the various ways artists chose to express the act of reflecting. Light refreshments served.

MFA at Maryland Ave, 76 Maryland Avenue

Join the artists for the opening of the "Midsummer Madness Exhibition" as well as the Gallery Name Reveal for MFA's fabulous new Maryland Avenue space! "Name Reveal" at 6:30 p.m.!!

What is the Annapolis Gallery Association?

Members are Annapolis galleries featuring original works of art by local, national, and international artists.

 

Where are the galleries located?

The galleries are located from downtown Historic Annapolis up Inner West Street out to just beyond Spa Circle (Maryland Hall). Most are within walking distance from each other. Annapolis is consistently ranked as one of America’s most walkable towns. 

 

Where can I park?

You can park at the meters on the street - most of them use the ParkMobile app - but we recommend parking in one of the garages. More info

What if it rains on the day of the Art Walk?

The show must go on, rain or shine!

Is there a charge for the Art Walk?

No, it is a free event.
